Video footage of former IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di'Anno's June 25, 2009 concert at Bunker in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada can be viewed below.

Di'Anno took part in a press conference last month during his two-week solo tour of Argentina. When asked about the rumors that his drug use had something to do with his split with IRON MAIDEN, Di'Anno responded, "Where the fuck do you people get this from? I left IRON MAIDEN because they were going too heavy metal, and IRON MAIDEN is a money-making machine, and I don't give a fuck about it. It was not about drugs; it...

The White Stripes - White Stripes Documentary Details

Seminal Detroit two-piece The White Stripes have released more details of their upcoming documentary.

The White Stripes cut a swathe through indie rock at the turn of the Millennium. Dominated by grey, lifeless anaemic bands struggling to cope with the post Britpop / grunge (delete as applicable) lull, the band's dynamic minimalism made them instant cult favourites.

After three albums on the tiny indie label Sympathy For The Record Industry the band became massive talking points in Britain, and were snapped up by XL Recordings. Hiding themselves away in the retro Toe Rag studios in London, The White Stripes emerged...

Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam Confirm Album Plans

Grunge legends Pearl Jam are due to return with their new studio album 'Backspacer' on September 21st.

Pearl Jam were formed from the ashes of several Seattle groups. Singer Eddie Vedder was a veteran of the city's buoyant underground rock scene, and rapidly emerged as a gifted songwriter.

Releasing their debut album 'Ten' in 1991 the band became instant stars. The record was acclaimed as the work of a stunning new voice, catapulting Pearl Jam into the Billboard charts.

However not everyone was impressed. Kurt Cobain was a notorious critic of the band, although Vedder recently claimed that the Nirvana...

Ramones - BLITZKRIEG FLOP: Living Things To Play The Ramones In Runaways! Gay!

If you were approached about pretending to be the Ramones in a major motion picture, what would your reaction be?

If you’re any sort of decent human being, your response would likely be, “No. I will not pretend to be the Ramones.” And that’s the right thing to do. But if you’re one of the wackest bands in America, and already dress like the Ramones despite sucking really hard, you might be narcissistic enough to think it a good idea to play the Ramones in a movie.

And thus, the extremely massive posers who named themselves, The Living Things, have been...

The Black Keys - Black Keys Side Project Plan

Ohio blues two-piece The Black Keys are set to continue with side projects, as drummer Patrick Carney unveils details of his new album.

Featuring rudimentary drums and screeching guitar, The Black Keys want to strip rock back to its basic essentials. Inspired by the blues-drone of performers such as RL Burnside and Junior Kimbrough the band went about sculpting a new blues-derived sound.

Keeping to their strictly minimal rules, the band even recorded in a rubber factory in order to get the right sound. The Black Keys are also stunning live performers, regularly slipping into songs by artists as diverse...

Opeth - Opeth Frontman Angered By Online Impostor

There was a time (well a couple of months ago) when it was only A-listers that anyone bothered to impersonate on social networking site Twitter but now not even underground prog-death metal bands aren’t safe.

Opeth frontman Michael Åkerfeldt is furious that a person has been impersonating him asking his fans to “tell him to fuck off”.

He said: “OK, good people, time for another boring post about some retarded little boy that thinks it’s fun to pose like me and write ‘fun’ posts about new Opeth album titles etc.

“To be honest, I’d be surprised if anyone actually believed...
