The Fifth Alliance from Breda, Netherlands has just released a new EP called Reflections On Consciousness. Their previous release was their demo that resulted in a record contract on Crossfirecult Records. According to their MySpace they sound like a heavy grooving sound of controlled dissonance and rhythmic twists.
On their demo Fear Consumption The Fifth Alliance already showed some potential. A minor on that demo is the lack of variety within the music. Their latest effort still has some of the same problems. The first song, ‘Thirteen’, indeed lacks some variety and also some of the mathcore parts are not always right. Sadly...
