On Halloween, Phish choose a classic album to cover live if they have a gig. This year, they covered The Rolling Stones `Exile On Main Street`.
The show in Indio, California featured a special guest appearance from Sharon Jones and three horn players from the Dap Kings featured on ‘Sweet Black Angel’.
What is interesting in this choice of Stones albums is that The Rolling Stones themselves have never performed four of the songs live. ‘Soul Survivor’, ‘Turd On The Run’, ‘Casino Boogie’ and ‘Let It Loose’ have never been played at a Stones gig.
