Nelly News: Nelly Furtado on “Quelli che il Calcio”

Nelly Furtado was on the Italian television show Quelli che il Calcio where she performed her new single “Manos al Aire” from her album Mi Plan. First of all, can I just ask about her on-stage presence during the performance? I thought it was so over-the-top but who knows, right? Maybe that works for Italian television.
Also, is her Spanish accent that bad (she’s Portuguese) that they needed to add subtitles? Then she is asked questions and it’s a little awkward. These overseas appearances can be weird but I just found this extra strange.
