Michael Franti has confirmed (http://powertothepeaceful.org/?page_id=54)the lineup for this weekend’s Power to the Peaceful Festival. The 11thannual event will take place at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park onSeptember 12, featuring performances by Spearhead, the AlanisMorissette acoustic trio, Sly & Robbie, Cherine Anderson, VieuxFarka Toure and Sellassie. In addition, Namkha Rinpoche will bring apersonal message from the Dalai Lama, and an open air DJ tent willpresent Miguel Migs, Ren the Vinyl Archaeologist, DJ Heyman, DJ Adnanand DJ Zita.
