The 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics held in Berlin was set ablaze as yet again Bolt bested himself by smashing his own record of 9:69 made in Beijing. A race billed as a showdown featuring the world’s three fastest men ended with Usain Bolt setting a new world record eleven-hundredths of a second faster than the mark he set at last year’s Olympics.
