Space News: Bowie to release Space Oddity anniversary edition

DAVID BOWIE is set to re-release his Space Oddity album to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

The legendary singer will release a special edition of the album on October 12 complete with some previously unreleased tracks.

The album was orignally released in November 1969 under the title 'David Bowie' before being renamed 'Space Oddity' in 1972.

Unreleased tracks includes demos, radio sessions and alternate versions of album songs.

The 40th anniversary edition, which has been remastered for the new release, will be released digitally, on CD and on 180 gram vinyl.
