Jessica Simpson feared she was 'hallucinating' when she was caught in an earthquake.

The singer-and-actress was in Japan to film her new reality TV show 'The Price of Beauty� when the ground was rocked by the tremor, which measured 6.6 on the Richter Scale.

She wrote on her Twitter page: 'Thought I was hallucinating. I have never felt anything like this in my life. Laying in bed watching CNN (sic).'

The earthquake hit Japan�s Suruga Bay at 5.07am local time on Tuesday (11.08.09), and although it caused no damage or casualties a tsunami warning was issued.
