Former Pulp frontman, and successful solo performer, Jarvis Cocker is to write three songs for the upcoming film 'Get Him To The Greek' starring Russell Brand.

Billboard reports that the sequel to 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall', (notable as Russel Brand's first big film role), will include three songs written by Cocker, to be performed in the film by Brand's character, the hapless Rock star Aldous Snow. Cocker told Billboard, the songs were "rather silly, but it's a silly film."
