I desperately want to review Polly Scattergood’s set as she is by far the most interesting new musical discovery that I made at the 1-2-3-4 Shoreditch Now Festival this year. The problem is that her set finishes over half an hour before it’s due to start, so I only manage to catch the very last tune; the brilliant ‘Bunny Club’, with its crazy refrain about having a dog and a gun and living in London.
