Nas News: Nas bemoans the death of hip-hop

NAS has complained that greed short-lived rap stars has caused the death of hip-hop.

The rapper said newcomer's to the genre and money has tainted the music.

Speaking to the Boston Herald, Nas, whose called his 2006 album Hip-Hop Is Dead, said: "It died - we're just picking up the bones in the graveyard and banging drums with the bones and recreating what was there.
