Maverick songwriter Lightspeed Champion has launched his new website with a very special free download for fans.

Real name Dev Hynes, Lightspeed Champion is one of the most unusual songwriters in British music. Beginning life in the nu-rave group Test Icicles, Hynes later struck out on his own and began playing acoustic nights in London.

Indebted to acts on the Saddle Creek label, Lightspeed Champion nonetheless has his own unique voice. Surreal yet bitingly funny, the singer's material is imaginative and marks him out from many chord-a-day acoustic peers.
