When the Stone Roses released their first album in �89 we realised then that this was something remarkable and in the eyes of many it still represents the 'Greatest Album of all time�.

The album is being reissued in August and leading up to it those nice folks at Sony are releasing all the original Silvertone singles in 7' vinyl and itunes packs.

From a reviewers perspective the first question is 'Do these stand up today?' and the answer is an awkward 'In parts � yes but in parts - NO'.
