Ohio blues two-piece The Black Keys are set to continue with side projects, as drummer Patrick Carney unveils details of his new album.

Featuring rudimentary drums and screeching guitar, The Black Keys want to strip rock back to its basic essentials. Inspired by the blues-drone of performers such as RL Burnside and Junior Kimbrough the band went about sculpting a new blues-derived sound.
