Mariah Carey took the stage and reunited with Trey Lorenz to perform Michael Jackson’s hit “I’ll Be There” and I was moved by the effort. I was really glad that Trey was invited to sing along side her since he really was a huge part of the single’s success

Of course, it goes without saying that the actual singing and styling was not great on Mariah’s part but I believe that her heart was in it. She sounded affected by the emotion of the very sad event.
