Hit duo La Roux are set to tour the UK after announcing a series of tour dates for November.

While Elly Jackson may be the public face of La Roux, the electro star is actually part of a songwriting duo. Emerging last year with debut single 'Quicksand' Jackson's distinctive voice polarised music fans.

Ignored by radio, the song nonetheless became a cult hit. Gaining plaudits from some, La Roux became one of the hottest acts in the UK. Follow up single 'In For The Kill' boasted some smooth synths and Jackson's typically heart-wrenching vocal.
