Charlotte Street Blues welcomes blues legend John Lee Hooker Jr. to the stage for his only UK date this year.

In 2008, John Lee Hooker Jr. released his third album 'All Odds Against Me,� which saw him secure his second Grammy nomination for 'Best Traditional Blues Album.� The 12-song album, released domestically on Jr.'s own 'Steppin' Stone Records� and across Europe on 'Jazzhaus Records,� is his first to include only new original tracks, a contrast to his previous solo projects, 'Blues with a Vengeance� (2004) and 'Cold As Ice� (2006).
