Today Seether unleashed the Commodore 64-inspired video for their cover of Wham!’s 1984 ballad “Careless Whisper” (watch it, above). While the video is a strange but somwhat entertaining mix of ’80s nostalgia (dig the California Raisins) and current world crises (the recession and Kim Jong Il), the tune unfortunately puts the band amongst the ranks of countless heavy rockers who have tried to beef up ’80s pop songs and failed �" often miserably.
