Xiu Xiu are hard at work this summer on their upcoming release Dear God, I Hate Myself. The album will be released by Kill Rock Stars in early 2010. It will be their seventh full-length release and is being produced by Greg Saunier of Deerhoof.

Xiu Xiu and Parenthetical Girls are releasing a split 7" single of The Smiths and Morrisseycovers -- "Handsome Devil" by Parenthetical Girls and "I Am Hated for Loving" by Xiu Xiu.
