Spawn of Possession vocalist Mordechai Von Renvaktar (a.k.a. Jonas Renvaktar) has quit the band, citing a lack of motivation to continue as his reason.

I have decided to leave Spawn of Possession after many years together with this amazing band.

I feel that the impact we’ve made on the death-metal scene have forever changed it and I am very happy to have been a part of it. I know that Jonas Bryssling have made a bunch of awesome songs and gathered fantastic musicians around him to create yet another masterpiece, but I just cannot find the motivation needed to follow S.O.P...
