Going into the review of Darkane's Demonic Art I didn't know what to expect. Yet another metal band I was unfamiliar with. Might be a good thing because Demonic Art features a brand new vocalist, Jens Broman. He is a great, dynamic metal vocalist that really lends himself nicely to the fury of Darkane.The first track featuring Jens' vocals is "Leaving Existence", a powerful way to get your appetite up for a killer album. I do hear a great similarity to Devon Townsend of Strapping Young Lad and other bands. We do need more vocalists like this in metal today....
