He may have released eight albums to date yet Peter Bruntell is a new name to me. I wasn’t sure who he was, what his style of music was going to involve and what to expect from this new single ‘8 Lane Highway’.
This is probably one of the most difficult songs I have had to review. It is not very often you come across a tune, give it a listen and find yourself unable to decide what you thought of it. Even after a second, third or even tenth play there is something about it that doesn’t click with you....
