I don’t think I would be too far off to characterize Primal Scream as the exact geographic center between The Black Crows and EMF �" that is some leanings of American roots rock and near equal measure of blood rushing Manchester Dance House Groove. The better Primal Scream tracks tend to lean heavily on one or the other, with the most of the others involving both sounds in more-or-less equal measure, although, this song, off of their new album of the same name, straddles both sounds and was my favorite song of the night.
