Gearhead Records, an independent record label located in Northern California, has announced the signing of the Asheville, North Carolina sleaze-metal band CRANK COUNTY DAREDEVILS. The group's new CD is scheduled for a late summer release.
Label owner Michelle Haunold had been aware of the band for several years. "A friend of mine who writes for various metal magazines had sent me a demo for CRANK COUNTY DAREDEVILS back in 2004," she said. "It was pretty good, but they were still pretty raw and unseasoned. I felt they needed some time to really gel as a band."
