Lou Reed is promising that for his next shows there will be no songs and no vocals. You would think that would be enough to turn even the most diehard Lou Reed fan off going but no, Lou Reed fans are a group to their own.

Reed will be performing his bizarre 70s feedback album ‘Metal Machine Machine’.

‘Metal Machine Music’ was the 1975 double album featuring just four sides of noise. “I was serious about it. I was also really, really stoned”, Reed once said in explaining why it even exists.
