The legendary C&W singer received rave reviews for the show, which is based on her hit 1980 movie 9 To 5,, when it opened in Los Angeles last year.
But Parton - who wrote the score for the production - said she is struggling to contain her nerves ahead of its upcoming New York run, which begins on April 7.
She said: "I'm anxious about it. I've been working on this for four years and the thing about Broadway is you could work four years and close the next night - or never open at all. Everything's a chance."
