U2 disappear off the face of the planet, well apart from those do-gooding bouts of guilt-tripping us ordinary folk that Bono seems to think are a good idea every now and then, for five years. Which was good of them.

But now, not content with releasing one terrible album, U2 are planning on releasing another. Which will probably be just as terrible as No Line On The Horizon. The new album will be called Songs Of Ascent and is due for release before the end of 2009.
