After sold-out show in Austin, Jeff Lofton’s Miles Davis Tribute makes it’s Ft. Worth debut Friday, April 24 at Scat Jazz Lounge, 111 W. 4th St., with an 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. show. Tickets are $12.00 - $15.00, and be purchased online at buy.ticketstothecity.com. Austin-based jazz trumpeter Jeff Lofton leads the quintet featuring Brandon McGhee on tenor sax, Chris Villanova on piano, Ya Ka Ta Dano on bass, and the legendary Benny Medina on drums. (Medina has been playing drums for 57 years with such jazz greats as David “Fathead” Newman, Red Garland, and Roland Kirk.)
