MGMT News: MGMT Sues French President

(andPOP) - Award-winning band MGMT is suing French president Nicolas Sarkozy for copyright infringement, reports chartattack.com. Apparently Sarkozy has been using their song �Kids� without permission from the band.
Further insult was added when Sarkozy admitted to his blunder, and yet offered MGMT only one Euro ($1.59 Canadian) for compensation. His party, Union For A Popular Movement, used it at their national congress, as well as allowing the song to show up in online videos.
Needless to say, Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden rejected the offer made by Sarkozy. Chartattack...
