Martin was the longest serving member although the band was together for just over two years. In was there at the start in April 1966 and at the end in May 1968.

Buffalo Springfield was one of the most important acts of the 60s although they never had massive success. It was who went through the band that gave them their legendary status.

Neil Young and Stephen Still were in Buffalo Springfield. So was Jim Messina, who later joined Poco and Loggins & Messina.

Ritchie Fury also went to Poco after the break-up of Buffalo Springfield.
