Busy Signal has topped the 2009 Youth View Awards; he received six nominations exceeding the amount he was nominated for in 2008, last year Busy Signal received three awards including the Coveted Celebrity Role Model of the Year award.

Busy Signal received nominations this year in the following categories, Local Chart Topping Song with the hit single “Tic Toc”, Local Music Video with “Tic Toc” and “Nah go a Jail”, Male Artiste of the Year, Favourite Male Fashion Icon and Young Hot & Hype Male.
