Legendary Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton (far left) has been found dead at his Michigan home following a suspected heart attack. It is thought that the 60-year-old had been dead for several days before he was discovered sitting on his living room couch. No drug abuse or foul play is suspected.

Police have reportedly confirmed the death of the star, whose brother Scott is The Stooges’ drummer. Police in Asheton’s home town of Ann Arbor were alerted by his personal assistant, who had been unable to contact him for several days.
