And the PETA Person of the Year goes to (drum roll please) Leona Lewis.

The animal rights organisation �" People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals �" has recognised the vegetarian singer’s commitment to animal welfare after she reportedly refused to open department store Harrods’ winter sale because the shop sells fur.

PETA's Europe Director Robbie LeBlanc said: "Leona Lewis is admired for her beautiful voice, but it's her kindness to animals that makes her a superstar in our book."
