Black Earth Tiger is the sophomore record by Emanuel, released on Vagrant Records. The record is a follow up to the groundbreaking debut album, Soundtrack to A Headrush, which was released in 2005. Emanuel had always consisted of a hard rock sound with a little bit of screaming incorporated within the music, but the release of Black Earth Tiger took it a whole jump forward. The music seems to be more thought out, and the album seems to have more of a darker/hateful feel to it. Cottonmouth is a perfect example for this, the song makes references of feeling helpless...
