There was a level of excitement that flipping through the pages of Christmas catalogs brought each year that I haven’t found as an adult. I have to admit, this is pretty damned close.
The Kinks will be releasing a box set titled Picture Book (their first ever) on December 8. The release features a 6 CD collection of tracks compiled by frontman Ray Davies. A full color 60-page booklet will accompany the music, telling the story of The Kinks, illustrated by several never seen before pictures.
