It may have taken them eight years to get there, but on "Heavy Deavy Skull Lover" The Warlocks have finally found their sound. The group, now stripped down to four members, has dropped many of the repititve "chugga-chugga"-type riffs that dominated their older work in favor of a leaner sound that emphasizes more abstract song structures (with eight songs stretching out over 50 minutes) and esoteric lyrics.
