Beck has revealed he is collaborating with Charlotte Gainsbourg on her new album.
The singer told KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic that he was meant to have appeared on Gainsbourg's 2006 album '5:55', but wasn't able to: "I was supposed to work on her last album but I couldn't get over there. Now I'm working on her follow-up record."
Beck, whose father David Campbell arranged the strings on Gainsbourg's LP, added that he was working with the French singer and actress in Los Angeles and France. Artists that appeared on '5:55' included Jarvis Cocker, Air and The Divine Comedy.
