The P.O.D. and FILTER co-headlining tour of Europe, which was scheduled to take place in January/February 2009, has been cancelled as P.O.D. is unable to fulfill its touring obligations due to the band’s recently announced hiatus.
P.O.D. confirmed the tour cancellation in a statement, but did not reveal the reason behind its decision to take a break.
In the statement, FILTER said it was planning to reschedule the dates to play headline shows of its own, according to NME.com. The Richard Patrick-fronted band told fans to return to the point of ticket purchase to obtain refunds.
