“One More Day” by Diamond Rio hit the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks on March 10, 2001. It was the second and most successful single from their album of the same name.

The song gathered a lot of attention after the death of NASCAR driver Dale Earnhard, and gained a kind of “second resurgence” as a tribute after the September 11th attacks.
