The bands appearing at this year's Africa Express night as part of the BBC Electric Proms have been announced.

Hard-Fi, Reverend And The Makers and Foals are just some of the bands who will be appearing alongside Baaba Maal, Toumani Diabate, Amadou and Mariam and Rachid Taha at KOKO on 22nd October. The show puts African artists on global stage to show off their music in its purest form. Other artists taking part on the night include Johnny Marr, The Aliens and Natty, with the event promising surprising collaborations.
