The first single from the forthcoming album 'Catfights And Spotlights' is 'Girls'. It's sample heavy, i.e. it's practically a cover version with some clichéd "sassy" verses warbled inbetween the hooks, but it's still quintessentially Sugababes. Each time, no matter who may be in the band, Sugababes get r'n'b infused pop absolutely spot on. Keisha clearly is the distinctive driving vocal behind the 'Babes, and the others follow her lead once more.
So, it's another funky, spunky Sugababes number, but it leaves us desperately curious to hear fresh tracks, not covers, as a Mark Ronson-esque sample as a lead single strikes some...
