Dirty Pretty Things have split ahead of a final, 11-date UK tour. The band released two albums - 2006’s Waterloo To Anywhere and this year’s poorly-received follow-up, Romance At Short Notice. In a statement, Barat denied that the split meant a return for The Libertines. “It is with some sadness we announce the farewell of the Dirty Pretty Things,” he said. “It’s been a glorious three years which we all would gladly live out again, but it is time for us to try new things (not The Libertines).”
