For the third week in a row R&B singers and hip-hop artists were denied the top spot on the Billboard 200 by rock band Metallica. However, singers Ne-Yo and Joe hold down positions in the top 10.
Ne-Yo's third album Year of the Gentleman slipped from no. 2 to no. 3 this week, selling 83,000 copies, recording a 67% sales decrease.
At no. 4, the Pussycat Dolls' sophomore set Doll Domination sells 79,000 copies to debut within the top 5. The set follows their 2005 debut, PCD, which peaked at no. 5, but has since gone on to sell 2.9 million copies...
