Three giants of the nineties played two nights at Terminal 5 on Thursday and Friday: Meat Puppets, Dinosaur Jr., and Built to Spill. I was at the show on Friday and much to my disappointment I missed the Meat Puppets who went on at 7:30 p.m. I did see all of Dinosaur Jr.’s set, who were excellent. But the real thrill for me was seeing Built to Spill perform their seminal album Perfect From Now On. They played the album all the way through with excellent jams and Doug Martsch wailing perfectly.
