Last week, I signed off hopefully raving about the impending release of Before the Ruin, the collaborative album from three Scottish folk musicians (Roddy Woomble, John McCusker, and Kris Drever). I think I suggested that it was going to be quite extraordinary, and made a big deal out of their impressive musical pedigrees. So, now, Im going to gloat, because I was right.
