2002's biggest track was without any doubt Umek's in-your-face techno banger Gatex. The track, consisting of not much more than a haunting synthesizer melody has been among the faves of countless DJ's such as Tiësto and Mauro Picotto and is still regarded by many as one of the hottest techno tracks ever made.
