ENGEL has just entered PUK studio in Gjerlev, Denmark with Madsen to begin recording its sophomore CD for an early 2009 release via SPV Records. The band has launched a studio blog featuring photos and regular updates from the recording sessions.

ENGEL is the Gothenburg, Sweden-based quintet featuring guitarists Marcus Sunesson (ex-THE CROWN) and Niclas Engelin (PASSENGER, ex-GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES), Mojjo and vocalist Mangan Klavborn.
