Look out sunshine! The Fratellis have released yet another slice of mediocre dross. Uninspired, unremarkable and unsurprising, 'Look Out Sunshine' is a perfect example of why The Fratellis belong next to Kaiser Chiefs on the shelf marked 'People only like it when they're drunk'.
This release finds the Glaswegian trio on particularly limp form - the song lacks the pace of 'Chelsea Dagger', or the simple but memorable hook of 'Baby Fratelli'. An attempt at a rousing chorus is not enough to paper over the cracks, and Jon's vocals - although typically strident - are completely forgettable when the track finishes.
