News: Deerhunter - Deerhunter Sets Date For 'Microcastle'

Eclectic indie rock outfit Deerhunter has set an Oct. 28 release date for its sophomore album, "Microcastle." Kranky will handle the release in North America, while 4AD will issue it internationally. The track list is nearly identical to the version that leaked online this spring. First single "Nothing Ever Happened" will be issued on 7-inch vinyl at some point prior to the album's release date. "Microcastle" is less in-your-face than 2007's "Cryptograms," hewing more closely to frontman Bradford Cox's side project Atlas Sound.
