In a completely unpredictable turn of events, Bob Dylan has announced that he will release a two-disc collection of rarities, Tell Tale Signs, October 6. The collection will feature live tracks, demos, unreleased studio recordings, and rare songs from soundtracks. All of the material was recorded between 1989 and 2006. The collection is actually the eighth installment of the "Bootleg Series," though releasing them legally would seem to remove their statuses as "bootlegs" (what say you to that Mr. Dylan?).
